John Boyega is an award-winning British actor and producer who has captivated audiences worldwide with his powerful performances and inspiring personality. Born in London to Nigerian parents, Boyega discovered his passion for acting at a young age and dedicated himself to honing his craft. Boyega gained early recognition when he made his big screen debut in the sci-fiaction-comedy Attack The Block, directed by Joe Cornish. Following, it was Boyega’s breakthrough role in the globally acclaimed Star Wars sequel trilogy, directed by J.J. Abrams and Rian Johnson, that propelled him to international stardom. Starting with Episode VII – The Force Awakens in 2015, Boyega’s portrayal of “Finn”, a former stormtrooper turned reluctant hero, brought depth and humor to the character and quickly made him a beloved figure in the Star Wars universe. Boyega can currently be seen starring in the highly anticipated Netflix film, They Cloned Tyrone, opposite Jamie Foxx and directed by Juel Taylor.
