Supanova is passionate about supporting aspiring and established cosplayers, with a tradition of cosplay competitions dating back to 2001 when Supanova was still comicfest!. It has been a joy to see cosplay and evolve over that time, and The Odyssey represents a new direction to support cosplay’s continued growth and help the community flourish. With The Odyssey we are thrilled to offer cosplayers the chance to attend Dragon Con in Atlanta; one of the world’s greatest celebrations of all things cosplay and costuming.
The Supanova Cosplay Odyssey is Supanova’s own advanced national cosplay competition, where you have the chance to share in $15,000 worth of prizes. The Odyssey will be held on the Sunday of each of the six Supanova events around the country, in search of each city’s Cosplay Hero. Aside from winning a phenomenal cash prize, each of these Cosplay Heroes will then have a chance to be named the final overall winner – our Odyssey Hero, who will be able to continue their cosplay journey all the way to the United States for Dragon Con 2019.
