How
TRAMS – (Route 57a) – Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 April 2013 (TBC)
There are three extra special Supa-trams being added to the usual timetable with the first one leaving at 9:00am from the corner of Elizabeth and Flinders streets. The trams stop at Melbourne Showgrounds / Coles Supermarket on Epsom Road near the entry to Supanova. The last of the three extra special Supa-trams returns from Epsom road at 7:00pm and it would be remiss of us not to remind you to make sure you have a valid Metcard / Myki for your journey.
TRAINS –
We have been advised by Metro Trains of the following information:
There will be NO additional trains to the Showgrounds during the event as Metro Trains are carrying out an extensive track work along the Racecourse / Showgrounds corridor from 2 April until 21 April 2013 (which has been planned 9 months ago).
Also during the event part of the Craigieburn line will also be closed and there will be a bus replacement service between North Melbourne to Essendon.
This means that they will be NO train services at these two local train stations (Newmarket and Ascot Vale stations) for your patronage to travel on.
There will be some additional Trams from Elizabeth Street to the Showgrounds.
Please plan your travel accordingly, and anticipate delays due to large public transport patronage.
We highly recommend utilising local tram services for your arrival to the venue, with tram route 57. (West Maribyrnong to Elizabeth Street) stopping directly out the front of Gate 1 of Melbourne Showgrounds.
Don’t forget your Multipass – ahem – we mean your valid Metcard / Myki.

PARKING-
Parking Facilities: Onsite parking for general attendees – $10.00/ day
Exhibitors please identify yourselves and display your pass. Different rates apply.
Entry Gate: All vehicles to go to Gate 5, on Langs Road or Gate 1 on Epsom Road for pedestrians.
A drop-off only zone will be available at gate 1, Epsom Road.
