Comics - We Love Comics!
It's a simple truth but it makes so much sense.
And the rest of the world is beginning to catch up to our imagination! That's why we're finally seeing so many super-hero movie franchises starting up these days. Special effects have finally caught up with our beloved visual medium allowing movies to mimic the action that was only able to be drawn and created between the panels in our mind.
It goes beyond that though. A whole new generation of fans is falling in love with characters of epic proportions. But we're OLD SCHOOL at Supanova with a touch of NEW WAVE MODERNISM.
Nothing beats reading comics, holding them, collecting them.
Well nothing except meeting the supa-talented individuals who write and draw them.
It's a big responsibility but as a certain wall-crawling hero realised for the first time back in 1962, "with great power comes responsibility", and we take our responsibilities very seriously, to put on events with thousands upon thousands of comics from local and interstate dealers, special guests, competitions and serving as nursery and encouragement for emerging local talent in the Artists' Alley.
It always an absolute comic-fest at every Supanova!
