Supanova will be rolling out the anime again for 2008! In this years line up we've tried to squeeze in all your favourite events and activities, and although we currently can't fit anything else in, we're always open for more ideas! 2008 will again bring a stellar line up of guests! Anime events and contests returning this time around will be bigger and better! This year Supanova in Sydney and Perth will be featuring:
EXCLUSIVE SCREENING - L Change the WorLd
Straight off the back of the super successful Death Note Movies, we're happy to announce that Supanova will be the first place in the western world where you can see what happens during L's final days! This has been made possible by Madman Entertainment and Eastern Eye Asian Cinema!
Anime Charity Auction
Since 2006, the Anime Charity Auction has been very successful! It's time again to vie for collector's items, and at the same time helping out fundraise for a charity!
Guest Talks and Signings
All Supanova anime guests will be having their very own Q&A panel and also signings. Some even have some very special panels! Click on each guest to see more details about their panel and signing times throughout the weekend.
Madman Anime Theatre
Showcasing the newest anime to hit our shores, catch premiere screenings of the latest anime from Madman Entertainment. This year's highlights include:
- Tsubasa Chronicles and xxxHoLiC
- One Piece The Movie: Episode of Arabasta - The Desert Princess and the Pirates
Atari Kamehameha Blast-Off!
Returning once again, the Kamehamaha blast-off will pit the loudest lungs against one another in a showdown for the ages!
Madman Cosplay Parade!
Saturday cosplay event will be done parade style! See the page for more details heaps of prizes to be won.
Madman Cosplay Contest
It's back! One of the highlight events of Supanova, and will be happening on Sunday. Pre-registration is encouraged as places are strictly limited.
Iron Artist! Presented by OzTaku
Iron Artist pits the best against the best in the ultimate showdown of artists! See if you can challenge the Iron Artists and grab your chance at glory!
Quick Draw
Are you a fast drawer? Then Quick Draw is for you! Go up against others in a fast paced contest to draw famous anime characters and go into the running to win some very cool prizes. This will be part of the Iron Artist.

Like to cosplay? Like Chess? Then come on by to our playing board.

It's back! Impress everyone with your vast knowledge of all things anime! Bask in the limelight of knowing more of what you love!
Karaoke!! Japan
Think you're the next Japanese Idol? Well here's your chance to prove it! The new format karaoke contest will be happening again this year and will consist of both solo and duet/group performances.
Special Focus panels and work shops
There will be a showcase of many broad subjects covering topics such as Dating Simulation games, Manga Drawing classes held by OzTaku, and more!
