08/05/2008 As an awesome exclusive event for Sydney SUPA-FAN PASS holders only, we are going live direct to Hollywood to talk to the director of the upcoming highly anticipated sequel 'Hellboy II: The Golden Army', Guillermo Del Toro.
The Academy Award winning Guillermo del Toro is also the director of Pan’s Labyrinth, Blade 2, The Devil’s Backbone and, of course, the comic-book favourite, Hellboy. He has also been recently announced as the director of the two The Hobbit films that are shooting next year in New Zealand.
Joining him will be one of the stars of the movie, the lovely Selma
Blair! Hellboy II opens here in August and features the return of
Earth's most butt-kicking demon in an all-out war with the angry
inhabitants of the fairy realm. This exclusive chat will give you a
chance to ask questions of two members of the creative team making this
eagerly-anticipated film.
The live cross is happening at 9.00 am on Sunday the 22nd of June, so
make sure all you Sydneysiders grab your SUPA-FAN PASS! It could be you
asking your question or winning some cool prizes from our sponors.
Perth people, the live hookup will be at the Sydney event only, but we'll have a special event and prizes for Perth fans too!

18/04/2008 With excitement building we're pleased to announce tickets to both our Sydney & Perth events will be going on sale Thursday May 1st through Ticketek.
As part of our usual offering there'll be a number of options available as well as one specific new one to cater to the fact Hayden Panettiere is going to rock the house in both cities. These include the SUPA-FAN Weekend Pass, Day Passes, the VIP Supanova Pass and the World Building MasterClasses.
But joining them is also the SUPA-HERO Pass that guarantees a personal photo opportunity with Hayden Panettiere, her signature on a personal item of your choice, entry to the event for the whole weekend and a seat in her one and only Q&A seminar 1.30pm Sunday of each event. Biggest Ever Supanova Rocks Brisbane!
11/04/2008 After drawing 6,700 fans to our inaugural Supanova in Melbourne, Brisbane fans almost doubled that with 13,200 rocking the house as new benchmarks were set yet again!
Additional to the main event there was also the Supanova Sneak Peek in the Queen St Mall during Friday lunchtime which almost brought the mall to a standstill with Supa-Stars Michael Winslow and Lou Ferrigno featuring.
And thanks to Channel Ten featuring us during the news nationally Friday evening, and the ABC doing likewise Saturday evening, Supanova's visibility has never been higher across the country.
So as we calibrate our sights for Sydney and Perth late in June make sure you keep visiting us here for videos, photos and podcasts galore to reminisce and celebrate the amazing first ever Supanova Melbourne/Brisbane double-header.

Melbourne Supanova rocked... And now Brisbane!
01/04/2008 This weekends first Supanova event in Melbourne was awesome! Even
though the weather on Saturday was less than spectacular, great crowds came out
to see all the guests, stalls and events that Supanova had to offer! Cosplayers,
video gamers, comic-book fans and pop-culture devotees of all ages made this;
the first Supanova in Melbourne, totally unforgettable!
And now it's
Brisbane's turn to kick their heels up! Starting on Friday at 12 noon in the
Queen Street Mall Brisbane is going to get the Supanova treatment!

2008 is looking huge! Not only are we in Sydney and Brisbane but we're also forging into new frontiers in Melbourne and Perth. Both of those cities have been on our radar for a while and 2008 is the year we make it a reality.
