Giveaway – IT Prize Packs

To celebrate the release of IT. – the reimagining of the classic Stephen King horror story and with thanks to Hachette Australia and Roadshow, we’re giving readers the chance to win one of ten copies of the original Stephen King novel along with a double pass to see the new film, in cinemas on September 7th !

New Line Cinema’s horror thriller “IT,” directed by Andrés Muschietti (“Mama”), is based on the hugely popular Stephen King novel of the same name, which has been terrifying readers for decades. For as long as their town has existed, Derry has been the entity’s hunting ground, emerging from the sewers every 27 years to feed on the terrors of its chosen prey: Derry’s children. Banding together over one horrifying and exhilarating summer, the Losers form a close bond to help them overcome their own fears and stop a new killing cycle that began on a rainy day, with a small boy chasing a paper boat as it swept down a storm drain…and into the hands of Pennywise the Clown.

Competition opens 4:30pm, Friday, 1 September 2017 and closes 6:00pm AEST Wednesday, 6th September 2017 (“the Promotion Period”).
Entry is open to Australian residents only, aged 15 years and over. Employees and their immediate families of Supanova Pop Culture Industries Pty LTD, Hachette Australia and associated agencies and companies connected with this competition are ineligible to enter.
There are ten (10) packs to give away, each containing;
a) One (1) copy of the book “IT” (valued at $19.99 each).
b) A double pass to the film “IT” (Valued at $39.00 each)
i) Total prize pool valued at $589.90.
ii) Prizes are not transferable for cash.
This promotion is a game of skill, and chance plays no part in determining the winners.
Entries must be submitted within the Promotion Period and include an answer 25 words or less, first and last names, age, a valid email address, valid postal address and phone number.
One entry per person. Multiple entries will not be considered.
Winners will be selected after Wednesday, 6th September 2017 and notified through the phone number or email provided.
Incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.
The judges’ decision is FINAL and no correspondence will be entered into.
Winner’s Entry Details, including name and postal address will be given to the distributor (Hachette Australia) and/or their agencies to facilitate prize dispatch.

In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
If any prize pack (or part of any prize pack) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.
