WELCOME TO SUPANOVA - SYDNEY !!!

 We know you've all been eagerly anticipating news about the Sydney event and we could keep you in suspense no longer as Supanova moves back to its spiritual birthplace, Sydney Olympic Park, October 27 to 29.

And for the first time in Sydney, its FREE for children 12 years and under when they are accompanied by a paying adult. Are we cool or are we cool?

For the history buffs amongst you, you will undoubtedly remember that the first ever Supanova was held at the Exhibition Hall of the Sydney Showground back in 2002! It seems like only yesterday yet Supanova has come such a long way since then. Ultimately Wharf 8, much as we loved it, had begun to limit us even last year due to its size. So the decision has been made to move to a venue that we hope will service our growing event many years into the future.

To celebrate we're going to trot out a fantastic line-up of special guests, celebrities, sponsors, exhibitors, tournaments, comps and general GOOD STUFF as per usual but in bigger doses! Expect the biggest Artists' Alley, flip out over the special presentations and immerse yourself in the shear fun and frivolity that is Supanova!

PREVIEW NIGHT CHANGES FORMAT, FRIDAY OCTOBER 27

 Last year was a bold undertaking in establishing and implementing our first ever Preview Night in Sydney . But it went near to breaking all our exhibitors, staff and volunteers in the process!!! There was just too much to do before 6.00pm on Friday, the advertised opening time of the expo for the Preview, and it really pressurised us to have the WHOLE expo ready and running.

We loved it but it was really hard work and in the end we decided to do a Brisbane!

In Brisbane we tried something different and it really worked. Essentially we arranged four hours worth of exclusive panels and screenings, from 6.00pm to 10.00pm, as the benefit of pre-purchasing a Weekend Pass to Supanova, so that retailers could spend the time they needed to set up properly, only getting access to them Saturday morning as in the past. It worked so well we're doing it again for Sydney in October.

So make sure you stay plugged in for when we announce the different guests, speakers, screenings and activities that will be featured that night. And remember its FREE and EXCLUSIVE only to those who Pre-Purchase their Weekend Passes.
