Author George R. R. Martin and Emmy award-winning actor Peter Dinklage will visit Australia this November, appearing at three must-see events for any Game of Thrones fan. Supanova is hosting the Game of Thrones creator and TV series star at our Brisbane and Adelaide events, with a special session in conjunction with the ‘Ideas at the House’ taking place at the Sydney Opera House on November 11.
These unmissable appearances will give fans a truly unique insight into George R. R. Martin’s incredible imagination and unveil his future aspirations for the series, while Peter Dinklage will reveal the inner workings of the series’ journey from page to screen.

Peter Dinklage is an American film, television and theatre actor. Since his breakout role in The Station Agent he has acted in several feature films, including Underdog and Death at a Funeral. Since 2011, he has starred as Tyrion Lannister in the HBO series Game of Thrones, based on George R. R. Martin’s series of novels A Song of Ice and Fire. His performance has received widespread international praise, including an Emmy and Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor.
George R. R. Martin is an American author of fantasy, horror and science fiction. He is best known for A Song of Ice and Fire, his international bestselling series of epic fantasy novels that HBO adapted for their dramatic series Game of Thrones, in which he also serves as co-executive producer. Martin was selected by Time magazine as one of the “2011 Time 100”, a list of the “most influential people in the world”.
