Jessie Cave is an actress, writer, illustrator and who played Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter film series.

British actress Jessie Cave made her debut in CBBC series Summerhill in early 2008. In 2009 she made a small appearance in the fantasy film Inkheart. The same year Jessie went on to play the role of Ron Weasley’s love interest Lavender Brown in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince directed by David Yates. Jessie continued to portray Lavender in The Deathly Hallows Part 1 & 2.

She made an acclaimed debut in Tom Stoppard’s Arcadia in London’s West End in 2011, and followed it up by scooping the award for People’s Choice for Best Female in the OffWestEnd.com Awards in 2011 for her portrayal of Liv in Breed at Theatre503.

In 2012 Jessie played Biddy in Mike Newell’s film adaptation of Great Expectations, with her younger sister Bebe playing Young Biddy. She was a guest lead in Simon Amstell’s BBC2 series Grandma’s House, before creating the Project Amstell series as seen on The Guardian with Amstell and other comedy talent including Daniel Simonsen and Jessica Hynes.

Jessie took her debut live show Bookworm to the Edinburgh Fringe 2012, co-starring Bebe, and drawing widespread plaudits for its portrayal of a fictional book club that Jessie ran. The show enjoyed a sell-out run at the Soho Theatre in 2013. She returned to Edinburgh this year performing stand-up on the Free Fringe in two handler Ain’t To Proud To Beg with Jenny Bede.

Most recently Jessie appeared in Rick Edwards’ Channel 4 special Burger Van Champion, and as Alicia Ferguson in the CBBC series Wizard vs Aliens in episodes ‘The Thirteenth Floor Parts 1 & 2’.
