How long you have been cosplaying for?

I have been cosplaying since early 2003, which would make it… 7 years now! Wow! Time really flies when you’re having fun!

List up to 5 previous costumes you’ve done

  • Beast (Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler)
  • Allen Walker (D.Gray-Man)
  • Rozalin (Disgaea 2)
  • Euphemia li Britannia (Code Geass)
  • Cagalli Yula Athha (Gundam Seed Destiny).

I have many more, and plenty of others on the To-Do list, but there few were some of my firsts, and always have a special place in my memories.

What does cosplay mean to you and why do you love it?

I have always loved sewing and being able to create costumes and accessories for a costume, and the feeling of making something yourself by hand is so rewarding. I love cosplay because of the enjoyment I get making the costumes, the friends I can enjoy conventions and photo-shoots with, and the new friends I meet and make at gatherings. For me, cosplay is a fantastic hobby that transcends language and distance barriers, that can bring all sorts of people together to have fun and enjoy having a creative pastime.

What we can expect to see from you at the Grand Final?

I plan to put as much effort into my sewing skills, as well as learning new techniques to challenge myself and grow as a cosplayer. And hopefully, barring some freak accident of nature, a costume as well. XD
