Peter Facinelli was born and raised in New York, and attended NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. He has established himself as one of Hollywood’s most sought-after actors with distinctive and impressive performances. He has formed his own production company, A7SLE Films, and is currently working on a variety of projects which allows him the opportunity to expand his creative talents as a writer, producer, director and actor.
Peter currently appears in the new CBS series Supergirl, where he portrays green tech billionaire Maxwell Lord in a recurring role.
Prior to Supergirl, Peter had a starring role in American Odyssey in which he played Peter Decker, a lawyer caught in a web of deception. He also starred as Doctor Fitch Cooper in Showtime’s critically acclaimed comedy series Nurse Jackie for 7 seasons, and had a recurring role in Season 5 of Glee!, and Damages.
His most notable role was playing Dr. Carlisle Cullen, the altruistic patriarch of the Cullen coven, in the blockbuster feature films, The Twilight Saga: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and Breaking Dawn – Part 2 for Summit Entertainment. The studio’s Twilight film franchise is based on Stephanie Meyer’s #1 New York Times bestselling series.
Peter also appeared in the film Walter which was released in March 2015, and the supernatural thriller The Damned, in which Peter has the lead role was released in the fall of 2014. Peter also can be seen in the movie “Loosies” which he wrote and stars in.
Some of his other feature film credits include The Scorpion King, Riding in Cars with Boys, Supernova, Can’t Hardly Wait, Dancer, Texas Pop. 81, and Foxfire opposite Angelina Jolie.
Peter’s comic book, Protocol: Orphans was published in 4 parts to rave reviews. It was also released as a graphic novel in December 2014. Fox network is currently in working on a series adaptation of the novel. Peter also expanded his writing into other genres with a YA novel, After The Red Rain which was
released in August 2015. Publisher’s Weekly described the storyline as “set in a future world of environmental collapse and mass poverty, where a mysterious boy named Rose discovers he possesses inhuman powers that can irrevocably change the lives of everyone on the planet.”
Peter is currently filming a pilot for a new show on Fox titled Zoobiquity. Peter has a lead role in which he stars as “a brilliant, socially-challenged veterinarian who relates better to animals than people”.

Peter will conduct a general admission Q&A each weekend, and participate in signing and photo sessions* on Friday in Sydney (2:30pm – 5:30pm) and throughout each Saturday (10.30am to 5.30pm) and Sunday (11am to 5pm) in both cities.
