Nick Kacevski has worked as a Visual Effects Artist for over four years. With credits such as The Spirit, Australia, Happy Feet 2 and the current Mad Max: Fury Road under his belt, his move into film directing has given him the opportunity and technical ability to create unique stories and worlds.
Born in Macedonia, Nick grew up in Sydney, where he studied at the University of Sydney achieving a Master of Design Science (Digital Media). Directing several music videos and commercials, Nick teamed up with twin brother George Kacevski; a commercial and film editor, who introduced their new talented and like-minded Producer; Hadi Tieu-Vinh, to the team.
Joining forces, the trio created Intwine Films. Together they began the search for a shared passion; story telling.
With their debut short film, “Dying Ice”, being screened on “Director’s Day”, they intend to use the short film to provide a grounding for their feature film based on a similar concept, which they are currently in the process of developing.
Intwine Films will be appearing and speaking as part of Supanova’s “Director’s Day” on Friday 9th April in Brisbane.
