Jason Trost is a fourth generation filmmaker that has worked in the film industry for his entire life. Raised on sets, he began young, as an assistant for their father in the craft of special effects. With years of working and learning the intricacies of filmmaking, he developed an appreciation for the art while reaching further than just special effects.
As an aspiring filmmaker he made short films all through out childhood. Jason began writing and acting, finishing a dozen feature length screenplays, as well as shooting numerous short films and independent features. As an aspiring filmmaker he continues to make films, known for their creative style and outlandish sense of humor.
His first film, The FP, has created an unbelievable underground response and landed theatrical release in early 2012 along with his second film All Superheroes Must Die which landed limited theatrical release in early 2013 paved the way to his next film, the raunchy comedy #WetAndReckless. All of this promises to be the beginning of an incredible career.
Jason looks forward to meeting all his fans at both the Gold Coast and Melbourne expos in 2013. There are signing* and photo* sessions throughout each Saturday (10.30am to 5.30pm) and Sunday (11am to 5pm) excluding breaks and there’s a general admission Q&A during each weekend.
