Clare Kramer is an accomplished actor, producer and aspiring director. Clare earned her BFA in theater from New York University’s prestigious Tisch School of the Arts. Honing her skills through off-Broadway and national tours, Clare first rose to Hollywood’s attention appearing alongside Kirsten Dunst and Eliza Dushku in the comedy Bring It On, playing the hard-nosed cheerleader “Courtney” and was nominated for an MTV Award for her role in the movie. Clare is also known for her role as, “Glory the Great Glorificus”, the vain adversary of “Buffy” (for which 3 action figures were modeled after her character!).
Over the years Clare has continued to appear in numerous major studio and independent films as well as various television shows. Most recently, Clare has returned from locations in Florida and Maryland, wrapping her latest two films, Endure and The Dead Ones; both films will be released in 2010. Clare’s company co-produced, Tyson, which screened at the Cannes and Sundance film festivals to critical acclaim, was featured on Oprah twice in the same week and generated extensive Oscar buzz.
Clare has been featured and photographed in Maxim, People and Entertainment Weekly magazines, just to name a few, often using her notoriety and personal finances to help support organizations such as The Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, The Sierra Club and Children International.
In addition to being actively involved with several charities, Clare is the official spokesperson for kids 4 kids, an organization that provides financial aid and toys for children battling cancer. Clare and her husband, Brian Keathley, split their time between Texas and California with their 2 year-old daughter, Gavin and newborn daughter, River.
