Introducing Supanova’s very own eSports team!
Hailing from all over Australia, team Supa-Stellar comprises of five players representing Supanova as a pro eSports team.
You’ll have the chance to meet Quix0ticz in Adelaide. Watch them battle it out on stage and offer insight on how to get in to professional gaming.
Make sure to give them a warm welcome and follow them on twitter at @supastellar!
The team was formed mid last year by a group of gamers who were keen to enter competitive CS:GO gameplay but hadn’t had experience in a team before and were all fairly new players. As the team established they realised their passion for learning and improving both as players and as a team, and since then they’ve gone from strength to strength. What makes them special is the strong bond between them, their positive attitudes and how much fun they have together when they play. They’re incredibly excited to see their progress over the coming year alongside Supanova.
Team role: Captain/Entry fragger
Profile: I’ve been gaming my whole life, starting young with Zelda: Ocarina of Time on N64 and Team Fortress Classic on PC. I started playing CS 1.6 when I was 14 but took a 9 year break and rediscovered CS:GO a bit over a year ago. Ever since then I’ve been obsessed with improving and growing as a player. About seven months ago I started this team as a way of entering proper competitive play. What I didn’t expect was to create such a strong bond with every incredible person on the team. Partnering with Supanova has been incredible experience for us as a team to spread our reach and love of gaming with pop culture fans around Australia. I can’t wait to see what this partnership brings us over coming year.

Team role: Lurker/Clutcher
Profile: I grew up surrounded by family members who played video games so I started quite young. I took a couple years off gaming while I was studying but decided to get back into Counter Strike Global Offensive because my friends were all playing. I met a bunch of lovely girls who introduced me to the competitive side of CSGO and now I play in a female team called SupaStellar. My all time favourite games to play are the Sims, Counter Strike Global Offensive, Final Fantasy, Skyrim and H1Z1/PUBG.
Team role: AWPer
Profile: I grew up playing video games with my dad and my best guy friends from playstation 1 to the xbox 360. I’ve mainly been playing on consoles up until my friend in high school introduced me to CS:GO and it converted me to a PC gamer. Fast track down the line, I met a few girls that introduced me to the competitive side of CS:GO and I’m super excited to see how we grow as a team and where our partnership with Supanova will take us!
Team role: IGL
Profile: I started playing games at a very young game, I got introduced into CS 1.6 by my cousin when I was in year 4. I remember when he first moved into my house with nothing set up in his room besides his computer, not even a table! I used to play CS while laying down the floor, it was such a fun game and I was glad that he showed it to me. I remember when he use to take me to LAN to play CS with his friends, I started to like the game so much that I committed to playing it. I became addicted to CS and CSS came out not too long after. I played CSS for a couple years and took a break and played Dota 2. I came back to CS:GO and I’ve never looked back. I’ve recently joined Supastellar as their IGL and it has been a great experience and I can’t wait to see how far we will go in the future.
Team role: Support
Profile: I have been gaming on the PC since I was about 8 or 9 years old starting with Runescape and playing cs 1.5 offline vs bots (because our internet was so bad) as they were the games that my older brother was playing at the time. Eventually he moved onto CS Source and naturally I wanted to have a go at the game and got hooked. Ever since then I’ve been playing CS my whole life. I took a small break inbetween the end of CS Source and release of CS:GO to pursue other things but eventually got back in to the game after seeing the first CS:GO Major happen. Besides playing games I’m a die-hard AFL & Essendon FC fan.
